With much of the world shut down earlier in the year, supply of fabric has been short. DIY crafters stuck at home or unable to shop due to local restrictions are looking elsewhere this year for fabric.

Online Cotton Fabric Retailers Respond To Demand
Despite some of the big fabric suppliers having an online presence, they are either unable to get stock into their stores or they are unable to permit online shopping. This makes it difficult for those looking for cotton fabric by the yard.
Popular craft projects include face masks, quilting, home décor, bedding, and more. My shop, Crafty Twins Fabric, has had multiple people requesting cotton material for masks.
My sister’s shop, Snappy Baby, has even more requests for her specialty online flannel fabric by the yard store. While sales have slowed down since the April peak demand, she continues to be a single source supplier for many different designs.
